For everything that's being said and written about the upcoming Assassin's Creed game – Assassin's Creed Syndicate – we are hoping that it isn't another burning pile of mess as AC Unity. However, going by the initial signs, it does seem like Ubisoft has put in quite the shift for Syndicate in order to exorcise the demons of Unity.

Recently, Ubisoft held a Twitter Q&A session to shed more light on the upcoming game, revealing important details related to the game's map sizes, the ability to customise a unique experience and the plethora of side missions involved with Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

For starters, as far as switching between Jacob and Evie Frye in the loading screen is concerned, whenever players decide to choose between Jacob and Evie, they will be treated to a number of side missions they can undertake for the specific character.

As it seems, while all of the missions can be undertaken by either of the characters, the way in which players complete them will depend on who they are playing as.

Besides, each character will come with his own set of skills, which will then guide them through the mission in different ways. The side missions that players will undertake are likely to be detailed as well. After all, Ubisoft has indeed created a massive, open world Victorian London for the game. During the same Q&A session, the company said that not only will London get bigger, but there will also be plenty of boroughs to explore and conquer.

As of now, Assassin's Creed: Syndicate is set to be launched on 23 October.
