The 10th edition of the prestigious Asiavision movie awards function took place at Al Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Wednesday, on 2 December.

Bollywood actors Tabu, Jackie Shroff and Imran Khan graced the star studded event.

Akshara Haasan, Shruti Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Parvathy, Nivin Pauly, Aju Varghese, Chemban Vinod, Amala Paul, Jyothika, Rana Daggubati, Nithya Menen, Sai Pallavi, Neeraj Madhav, Tovino Thomas, Reenu Mathews, Jewel Mary and Nedumudi Venu also won accolades at the grand show.

Cinematographer Jomon T John, directors RS Vimal, KG George, Salim Ahamed, Alphonse Puthren, Nadirshah, G Prajith, musicians Bijibal, Gopi Sunder, Harinarayanan, KJ Yesudas, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Sujatha Mohan, Maqbool Manzoor, Harishankar and KS Chithra were also given the Asiavision awards.

Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan and Vikram could not attend the event as Chennnai airport was closed down due to incessant rain.
