Just a few hours after Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal remarked that Rahul Gandhi was "just a kid," Finance Minister Arun Jaitley called the Congress vice-president a "cry baby".

In an exclusive interview with the NDTV on Monday night, the finance minister slammed Rahul over his statement against the Bharatiya Janata Party and the RSS, saying that "mature politic requires that we get out of the cry baby syndrome."

He added that the Congress comes up with one or the other issue every day in order to disrupt the Parliament and added that GST is not the real issue.

When asked about Rahul Gandhi's remark that Prime Minister Modi had insulted the people of Kerala, Jaitley said that CM Oommen Chandy was disinvited by SNDP and that it has nothing to do with BJP. He added that a local issue in Kerala is being blamed upon the Centre just so that the Congress can "cry" over the matter in the Parliament.

Earlier, Aam Aadmi Party chief Kejriwal had said Rahul was "just a kid" after the latter flayed the ruling party in Delhi for staging dharna over the slum demolition by the Railways.

The Congress vice-president had asked why the AAP was protesting as it was in power in Delhi.

To this, Kejriwal had responded saying that "Rahul Gandhi is just a kid. Perhaps, the Congress did not tell him that the Indian railway comes under the central government."
