Tony Pulis is about to get another Arsenal player, with Mathieu Debuchy reportedly on the brink of completing a loan move to West Bromwich Albion.

Debuchy has hardly featured this season for Arsenal, with Hector Bellerin usurping the France international as the first-choice right-back for the club.

With a major international tournament in Euro 2016 taking place in the summer, Debuchy is keen to gain some playing time in order to seal his place in the France squad, and as a result, Wenger has give his nod for the departure.

Debuchy to West Brom for the rest of the season is on the verge of being completed, according to popular Arsenal blog Arseblog, with the defender joining Serge Gnabry, who has hardly featured for the Baggies, at the Hawthorns. If Debuchy does make his move to fellow Premier League side West Brom, then Calum Chamber's versatility will be put to the test again.

Chambers is Arsenal's fourth-choice centre-back at the moment, while the former Southampton youngster also filled in at defensive midfield in the 2-0 win over Bournemouth. The England youngster, though, has largely featured for Arsenal at right-back, with the 20-year-old impressive in the first half of last season in that role.

Wenger will have no problems in having Chambers as backup to Bellerin, but it does stretch the squad a little more than the manager or the fans would like.

However, Mohamed Elneny is expected to complete his transfer from FC Basel, once the Egypt international gains a work permit, and that immediately strengthens Arsenal's midfield that wee bit more.

With Francis Coquelin, Mikel Arteta, Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla expected to return from February, there should be enough resources for Wenger, provided there aren't too many injuries until next month.

Arsenal lead the Premier League table by two points currently, and have a week's break before playing Sunderland in the third round of the FA Cup. Wenger is expected to rest some of his star players for that match, after a fair few of them looked exhausted in the laboured 1-0 victory over Newcastle on Saturday.
