After Thea Queen (Willa Holland) being resurrected by the Lazarus Pit in "Arrow" season 3, Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) will be brought back to life in the upcoming sequel.

The resurrection of White Canary in season 4 is likely to have a great impact on Laurel Lance aka Black Canary's (Katie Cassidy) life and her relationship with Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and his sister, according to creator Marc Guggenheim.

"The episodes dealing with Sara's return are amongst probably the heaviest material that we've had for Laurel. We're using Sara's return to really get underneath not just Laurel as a person, but the relationship that she has with Thea and the friendship she has with Oliver," Entertainment Weekly quoted him as saying.

Meanwhile, executive producer Wendy Mericle revealed that the resurrection of Lotz's character will be different from that of Speedy. "To put it bluntly, she's more dead. We needed somebody to come in and basically resurrect her and bring her soul back. We were really thrilled that we were able to get Matt Ryan. He's the perfect character to do it," she said.

So the White Canary is expected to bring in some bitter experience for her sister Laurel and friends after she gets resurrected by the Lazarus Pit in season 4 of "Arrow". Additionally, Team Arrow will also have to deal with the new villain in city, Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough).

"Team Arrow has basically been trying to keep [him] at bay, but then something happens in the season premiere that's the straw that breaks the camel's back and it prompts Laurel [Katie Cassidy] and Thea [Willa Holland] to go find Oliver and get him to return," teased Guggenheim.

Followers of The CW supernatural series can mark the calendars to watch an encounter between Oliver and Darhk in the premiere episode of "Arrow" season 4 titled "Green Arrow", which will telecast on Wednesday, 7 October, at 8pm.
