Love birds Arpita Khan and Aayush Sharma tied the knot as per Punjabi Hindu customs at the Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad, on Tuesday, 18 November.

The traditional and lavish ceremony was witnessed by 200+ guests. The celebrations started around 4.30 pm on Tuesday with the baraat, being received by Salman Khan, mother Salma and brothers Arbaaz and Sohail, followed by 'jaimala' and 'phera'.

The couple exchanged the garlands in the evening before the elders of the family. The bride looked beautiful in a red lehenga and the groom looked dapper in an off-white sherwani.

Later in the evening, there was a party, in which Salman Khan, Helen, Mika Singh and Yo Yo Honey Singh thrilled the guests with their performances and Rajasthani folk dancers added charm to the merriment.

The guests were treated to supreme delicacies. "Brunches, lunches and dinners throughout the event will have all the dishes, including some oriental. But for the main dinner (on November 18), it is going to be Hyderabadi cuisine like Biryani and Pathar Ka Gosht. The Khans have specifically asked to add Kachche Gosht Ki Biryani and Haleem because they had it in the hotel earlier" a source told Deccan Chronicle.

The Khan family is said to have gone all out for the wedding and is reportedly paying ₹1 crore per day for the Falaknuma Palace. Over 250 guests attended the wedding and only invitees were permitted to enter the hotel on 17 and 18 November. The marriage celebrations will come to an end on Wednesday noon with a farewell lunch.

While it was an exciting atmosphere inside the venue, people had a tough time outside, as they struggled to get a glimpse of the guests and the wedding and Salman's personal guards and the cops had a tough time handling the crowd.

Below are some wedding photos of the couple, which were found on Twitter.
