Mohanlal's 'young look' from his upcoming movie Odiyan has become the talk of the tinsel town ever since the first-look was released last month. The versatile actor has apparently shed 18 kg to get into the shoes of Odiyan Manikyan's younger days in VA Shrikumar Menon's directorial venture.

A day before the release of Odiyan's official teaser, a photo of the 57-year-old has surfaced online, taken 51 days after he was trained by medical experts and physiotherapists from France to regain the "youth". The transformation of the actor itself had then impressed his fans while some commented it to be his dupe Madanlal.

The very next day, a clean-shaven look of the superstar took the internet by storm and ardent fans of Mohanlal have been appreciating his dedication and hard work. However, a section of fans seems to be not very happy with his new avatar. And many other netizens claim that Mohanlal's toned look in the promo video has been done with visual effects.

However, new photos of the National Film Award-winning actor walking through an airport started doing the rounds on social media on Friday, December 15. The images have taken the audience back to the 1990s and some have claimed that he looks similar to Anandan, the character portrayed by him in Mani Ratnam's 1997 hit movie Iruvar.
