Google's latest operating system Android 5.0.1 Lollipop is very likely to come to Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A soon, as the software's test build for the device has been spotted.

Samsung is working on updating the Galaxy S5 LTE-A (SM-G906S model) to Android 5.0.1 Lollipop, the upgraded version of the Android 5.0 Lollipop, and its test build for the device has been spotted, according to SamMobile

The Galaxy S5 LTE-A could be Samsung's first device to get Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update if the firmware is rolled out as expected. The device was released exclusively for South Korean market but it looks like the company is eager to run the firmware on it, as it is its first smartphone with Snapdragon 805 processor Quad HD display.

The upgraded software might come to the Galaxy Note 4 that also features a Quad HD display and other devices if it runs fine in the Galaxy S5 LTE-A. A report by SamMobile has also claimed that Samsung might skip Android 5.0 Lollipop update for its Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Note Edge but bring Android 5.0.1 Lollipop directly instead.

It may be mentioned that Android 5.0 Lollipop update has been made available in Poland to the G900F variant of Galaxy S5, and the Galaxy S5 with build number G900KKTU1BNL2 in Korean. However, Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update hasn't come to Samsung device till date though it has already to other Google Play Edition (GPE) devices.

However, Android 5.0 Lollipop has been seeded to several devices like the Nexus 7 (2013 edition Wi-Fi only model), Nexus 4, Nexus 6, Nexus 7, Motorola Moto G GPe, HTC One M7 and M8 GPe over the last few days.
