It was a big moment for star fans in Chennai, as two living legends of the nation came together during the ongoing Indian Super League (ISL) championship.

On 21 October, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan came to Chennai to cheer for his son Abhishek Bachchan's team Chennaiyin FC. Along with him seated in the stands was none other than south superstar Rajinikanth.

Sachin Tendulkar also accompanied the superstars, to cheer for his team Kerala Blasters that c local team - Chennaiyin FC.

It was Sr Bachchan, who invited Rajinikanth and was very happy and pleased when the actor arrived as his guest. While Big B was seen sporting a yellow and blue sweatshirt, Tamil superstar was seen in a white shirt and grey trousers.

With their presence, no wonder the local audience had a visual treat besides the joy of viewing the home team emerging as the winner.

After Chennaiyin FC defeated Kerala Blasters, Sr. Bachchan took to Twitter to share his moment of happiness and gratitude to have Tamil superstar besides him to cheer the team. 

Indian Super League football has already triggered the country's passion for the beautiful game, thanks to the big stars such as Abhishek, Ranbir Kapoor, Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Hrithik Roshan, who co-own franchises in ISL.

Moreover, considering that both Sr. Bachchan and Rajinikanth have million fans, their interest in the game will surely boost the country's love for the sport.

Meanwhile, Big B is busy shooting for Bejoy Nambiar's "Do" along with Farhan Akhtar.

The "Bhoothnath Returns" actor had posted a picture from the sets on his official Facebook account, where both the actors are seen sipping a cup of coffee while a chess board is placed between them.
