Here are some good news and bad news for Canadian singer Justin Bieber's fans. Bieber will return to the American Music Awards, but the singer will not be present at the event.
Bieber is set to perform at the American Music Awards, but he will be performing live from his Purpose tour in Zurich, Switzerland. His performance during the Purpose tour will be broadcast live at the Ama Awards 2016, making it his sixth performance at the award show.
Bieber, who performed live last year, will join the list of celebrities like Lady Gaga, Fifth Harmony, Green Day, The Weeknd, James Bay, John Legend, Bruno Mars, Shawn Mendes, Twenty One Pilots, The Chainsmokers and Halsey, Maroon 5 and Kendrick Lamar, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj, as well as Sting, who will set the stage on fire at the award show.
The Sorry singer is a 15-time Ama Award nominee and eight-time winner. This year, he has been nominated for the Video of the Year, Favorite Male Artist – Pop/Rock, Favorite Album – Pop/Rock, Favorite Song – Pop/Rock and Artist of the Year categories.
American Music Awards 2016, which is said to be the world's biggest fan-voted award show, will take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 20, at 8:00 pm ET. The event will be broadcast live on ABC on Sunday night.
