After the blockbuster hit film "Classmates" in 2006, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Indrajith Sukumaran and Jayasurya teamed up once again for comedy film "Amar Akbar Anthony", which was released in more than 200 screens across India on Friday, 16 October.
The film, which is the directorial debut of actor and mimicry artist Nadirshah, is one of the most awaited movies of the year. The film has locked horns at the Kerala box office with multi-starrer "Lord Livingstone 7000 Kandi" (LL7K).

The film's trailer and songs have been receiving positive response from the movie-goers. While the music has been composed by director Nadirshah, the background score is handled by Bijibal.
Namitha Pramod plays the female lead in "Amar Akbar Anthony", which also has Akanksha Puri, KPAC Lalitha, Bindu Panicker, Kalabhavan Shajon, Srinda Ashab, Ramesh Pisharody, among others in pivotal roles.
Interestingly, the film has been released on the 33rd birthday of Prithviraj.
