The debut TV show of All India Bakchod (AIB) "On Air with AIB" aired on 29 October. Better known for their infamous "Roast", the stand-up comedy group has now come up with a news comedy show.
The first episode of the show witnessed Rohan Joshi and Ashish Shakya talking on the topic, "Why be good?", revolving around corruption among other things, but of course with a touch of sarcasm and humour.
The show will be aired every Sunday from 1 November at 10 pm on Star Plus, Star World and Hotstar.
Earlier, AIB released an interesting promo of the TV show. "On Air with AIB" is aired after Amitabh Bachchan's new show "Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi" and the promo thus, says the AIB show will be a flop as the audience will prefer Big B's show.
The group also posted on their Facebook page, "AIB's new show On Air With AIB premieres 29th October on Hotstar and from 1st November, Sunday nights at 10 pm on Star Plus and Star World. Amitabh Bachchan's new show airs right before us so yeah..nobody's probably going to catch us."
This appeared to be a very unique promotional strategy and only time will tell if the strategy works for them and becomes as popular as "AIB Roast".
