Akshay Kumar has proved his prowess in comedy genre as well but Bengali star Prosenjit Chatterjee feels that the actor should stop doing comedy movies now. Akshay will next be seen in yet another comedy film titled "Housefull 3."

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Prosenjit was asked what he would like to do if someday he wakes up as Akshay. The veteran star said that he feels the "Housefull 3" actor should avoid doing comedy movies now and should focus on more serious roles like that he played in "Airlift."

"He should avoid doing those comedies now. I think the way he is doing right now, he should avoid those because he has been very much accepted in roles like that he did in 'Airlift," said Prosenjit.

Akshay has been applauded immensely for his performance in "Airlift" and "Baby," but the actor has been liked in comic avatars too in movies like "Hera Pheri," "Housefull 2," "Garam Masala," "Heyy Babyy," among others. "Housefull 3" is slated to be released on June 3 this year.

Apart from "Housefull 3," Akshay would reportedly be seen in the third instalment of "Hera Pheri" too. "Hera Pheri 3" will reportedly bring back Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal back on the screen together. The same cast was seen in the previous two parts.

There were also reports that makers of "Hera Pheri 3" initially had plans to cast Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham in the film but later the same cast was retained. "The script that was written around Abhishek and John earlier has also been drastically modified to suit Akshay, Suniel and Paresh. The film will begin from where 'Phir Hera Pheri' ended with Raju fleeing with the gun. Now Baburao and Ghanshyam will be searching for him," the DNA had quoted a source as saying.
