Akshay Kumar has beaten Salman Khan in terms of TV premiere rating for their respective movies on Star Gold. Jolly LLB 2 has topped the list of highest TV ratings in 2017 so far, leaving behind movies like Sultan and Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil.

Akshay's Jolly LLB 2 has had a successful box office run, and so has Sultan. The Salman-starrer was much bigger hit than Jolly LLB 2 but the latter has beaten Sultan in terms of TV premiere rating.

While Jolly LLB 2 got a TV rating of 3.83, Sultan secured the second slot with 3.32. Other movies that followed in the list are Dishoom (2.79), The Jungle Book (2.39) and Kaabil (2.37).

Both Akshay and Salman have been having wonderful phase at the box office. The two stars have been giving back to back hits. Akshay has a number of upcoming projects including Toilet:Ek Prem Katha, Crack, 2.0 among others. Salman, on the other side, will next be seen in Tubelight and then in Tiger Zinda Hai.
