VV Vinayak's latest venture "Akhil: The Power of Jua" has been rock steady on Saturday, as it crossed the mark of Rs 20 crore in collections at the worldwide box office in four days.

"Akhil: The Power of Jua" garnered very good response, with occupancy reaching 100% in many centres across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka on Saturday. The movie witnessed an average of 75 footfalls in both single screens and multiplexes across these states. The film has raked in decent collections at the AP/T box office on its fourth day.

But its business continued to drop considerably in other parts of India. Its collection hit rock bottom in the US, where it released in 150 cinema halls. Considering its huge screen count, trade experts had predicted the film would cross the $1-million mark at the US box office in its opening weekend. However its present trends shows the movie will not gross even half of it.

"Akhil: The Power of Jua" is estimated to have collected approximately Rs 4.75 crore gross at the worldwide box office on the fourth day. The film fetched approximately Rs 3.50 crore for its distributors on Saturday, having grossed a total of Rs 20 crore at the worldwide box office in four days.

The Akhil Akkineni and Sayesha Sehgal-starrer, which had decent advance booking for its opening day, debuted to overwhelming response. On its second day, the movie witnessed a steep decline in collection due to negative word-of-mouth. Its business was also affected by Salman Khan's "Prema Leela". Its collection continued to drop on Friday and Saturday.

"Akhil: The Power of Jua" has been made on a whopping budget of more than Rs 50 crore. Its theatrical rights have fetched its producers around Rs 40 crore. The movie is estimated to have returned over Rs 12 crore its distributors in four days. The film is expected to get them another Rs 6 crore on the weekdays.
