The trailer of Ajith's much-hyped "Vedalam" or "Vedhalam" was expected to be released on Wednesday, 4 November, midnight. But it has been delayed, leaving the ardent fans of the actor disappointed.

The buzz was that the trailer of "Vedalam" would be released directly on Sony Music's YouTube page. But, the sources have now said that the release has been delayed as the entire team is working round the clock to get the final copy of the Tamil movie ready by Thursday evening. The first priority of the makers is to get the final copy, say sources.

Nonetheless, sources say that it will be worth the wait the "Vedalam" trailer will be up to the point and captures the imagination of the audience. It will have all the elements that Ajith's fans expect from his films. Powerful one-liners, stylish looks, actions packed with all the emotions are expected to be part of the video.

The trailer plays a major role in generating good pre-talk for films. The trailers of Ajith's films have always done it. So, people will not accept anything better than the best. It has to be noted that the teaser of "Vedalam" was highly impressive and had become instant hit online.

"Vedalam" has been written and directed by Siruthai Siva. AM Rathnam, who produced Ajith's recent films like "Arrambam" and "Yennai Arindhaal", has collaborated with the actor again for the third time.

The film has Anirudh Ravichander's music, Vetri's cinematography and Ruben's editing. "Vedalam" will be released on 10 November for Diwali festival.
