Ajith's next movie with Boney Kapoor is more or less confirmed with the people involved in the process firming their plans for the launch of the Tamil flick. The project has been confirmed and the announcement is likely to be out soon.
Going by the buzz, the makers have reportedly planned a muhurat function in January 2019, possibly on the occasion of Pongal. The film will be directed by H Vinoth. The genre of the movie is still unknown.
But looking at the profile of H Vinoth, one easily gets an impression that the movie might be an action thriller. As per industry observer Ramesh Bala, Ajith had given his consent when Sridevi was alive to work on their banner.
"Actor #Thala #Ajith will be doing a movie for #BoneyKapoor 's Production.. It was a promise #Thala #Ajith gave to Late #SriDevi Ji..[sic]" he tweeted.
The details about the other cast and crew are yet to be revealed.
An earlier report on Indiaglitz cites that Ajith has given his nod to the project to bail out Boney Kapoor from his financial crisis. In the last decade, the producer's financial condition has not been very bright. Hence, the actor decided to do his bit for the producer, as the Kapoor shares a warm relation with Ajith's family.
Currently, Ajith is working on his next flick Viswasam, directed by Siruthai Siva. It is an action flick with Nayanthara in the female lead. The movie was supposed to be out for this Diwali, but it has not been pushed to Pongal after the shooting was delayed due to 48-day strike in Kollywood in February.
