WWE World Champion AJ Styles gets into a mouth-watering encounter with Dean Ambrose once again in the pro wrestling ring, but the stipulations are a bit more extreme over here. Tables, ladders and chairs -- everything goes. That's the best thing about WWE TLC!

Featuring only WWE superstars from the SmackDown brand, the final pay per view (PPV) event of the calendar year is expected to be nothing but intense. Four championships will be contested in the event on Sunday in Dallas, Texas. The PPV is headlined by the World Championship bought between the veteran AJ Styles and Ambrose, fondly referred to as the 'lunatic fringe'! SEE THE ENTIRE LIST OF MATCHES HERE...

One rumour has been doing the rounds is the return of John Cena at the end of the match. Cena will be hosting the final 2016 edition of NBC's Saturday Night Live on December 10, but an appearance in the WWE before that? Well, we don't know much about that but what we know is that the official website of Madison Square Garden has stated Cena would be present during a WWE live event in New York City, the day after Christmas 2016.

While we'll be closely following that, here are some other events we can expect from TLC 2016:

WWE SmackDown Women's champions Becky Lynch is one of the hottest female superstars in the WWE roster at the moment and it is no surprise that she is the champion. However, her competitor at TLC, Alexa Bliss, is slowly developing into a perfect heel and she has got the mic skills as well. The co-main event of the PPV, featuring the battle between the two in a tables match, also turns out to be enormously interesting!

The future of the Wyatt Family could also be up for grabs as Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton (believe it or not, but Orton has indeed become a part of the Wyatt Family) competes against the WWE SmackDown Tag Team champions Rhyno and Heath Slater for the title. Going by what we have seen from Orton over the years, there could be a high chance to see the 36-year-old turning his back on Bray Wyatt after the match!

Schedule

WWE TLC 2016 is set to get under way from 8 p.m. ET (1 am GMT, 6:30 am IST [Monday)] on December 4. The main card fights start an hour later.
