After Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is facing legal woes.

The former Miss World recently signed Omung Kumar's much talked about film based on the real life struggle of Sarabjit Singh, the Indian national who was brutally killed in a Pakistani jail in 2013.

The "Jazbaa" actress was supposed to play the role of Sarabjit's sister Daljit Kaur, who kept trying to release her brother and get him justice. He was more like her son and her efforts were no less than a struggle.

However, Baljinder Singh, who claims to be Sarabjit's real sister, has sent a legal notice to both the director and the actress over the film and has threatened to move the court.

Baljinder, who fears that the film will portray her brother in a negative light, told The Times of India: "I am not against a movie on the life of my brother, he died for this country. All I want is that his real story be shown to people and not what is being portrayed."

When Kaur was asked about Baljinder, she chose to ignore the question, saying that "the world knows who has done what for Sarabjit."

With such legal issues, it appears the film has a lot to handle before it finally narrates the pain of braveheart Sarabjit on-screen.
