Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, famed for her lovely long hair, will soon be seen in a new avatar. The former Miss World, who has been the brand ambassador of a beauty product for over a decade, will be seen in cropped hair in a new commercial.

In the pictures that have surfaced on the internet, the 41-year-old actress, who never fails to surprise her fans is seen holding a pair of scissors with minimal makeup. A short hair-do, combined with red headgear, makes her look fabulous.

The commercial is expected to go on air on 3 January, 2015.

On the work front, the beauty queen will soon start shooting for Sanjay Gupta's "Jazbaa". The much-anticipated female-oriented film will mark the actress' return to the silver screen after a hiatus of four years. The film also features Irrfan Khan and Shabana Azmi in important roles.

Besides "Jazbaa", the actress has reportedly signed a few more films. One of them is believed to be Karan Johar's film "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" and the other is Rohit Shetty-Shah Rukh Khan's next. However, no confirmation has been made by the makers yet.

At present, the Bachchan bahu is holidaying abroad with husband Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya. A picture of the family have been doing the rounds, where they were seen enjoying Christmas with Santa.
