Aishwarya Rai to Attend amfAR's Fundraiser Event at Cannes; Abhishek Bachchan to Accompany Wife

Along with Cannes Film Festival 2015, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be seen attending amfAR (American Foundation for AIDS research) event this year. 

Since 2002, the former Miss World has been attending the prestigious film festival and "Cinema Against AIDS" event at Cannes, and this year is no exception.

Aishwarya has been attending the fundraising gala dinner every year as the brand ambassador of amfAR.

Last year, Abhishek Bachchan accompanied Aishwarya to the event in May. And this year too, Abhishek and Aishwarya will chair the event, according to the official website of amfAR. 

Along with the Bollywood star couple, Kenneth Cole, Rosario Dawson, Milutin Gatsby, Jake Gyllenhaal, Nayla Hayek, Milla Jovovich, Diane Kruger, Michel Litvak, Frances Mcdormand, Natalie Portman, John C. Reilly, Vin Roberti, Carine Roitfeld, Isabella Rossellini, Remo Ruffini and Harvey Weinstein will chair the event.

Rock band from Las Vegas Imagine Dragons, singer Mary J Blige and singer Charli Xcx will perform at the 22nd annual Cinema Against AIDS gala.

The event will take place at Hôtel du Cap on 21 May, while Aish will walk the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival on 17 May and 20 May, according to Pinkvilla.

Aishwarya will attend the Cannes Film Festival along with Bollywood actresses Sonam Kapoor and Katrina Kaif as a brand ambassador of a cosmetic group.

Also, this year Aishwarya Rai will be revealing the first look and trailer of her comeback film "Jazbaa" at Cannes. Director Sanjay Gupta is also expected to attend the event.
