Aamir, who is also called the 'perfectionist' of Bollywood, said that he was disappointed and deeply affected with the "AIB Roast" video.

"I have not yet seen that roast, but I have heard a lot about it roast'. And I have seen 2-3 clips of that, I was deeply affected by that and I was most disappointed in what I was hearing," Aamir said.

"I completely believe in freedom of speech no issues, but we have to understand that we all have certain responsibilities. When I heard what was being described to me I felt it was a very violent event. There was lot of violence in that event.

"Violence does not mean only physical, it can be verbal and emotional too. When you insult someone, you are perpetuating violence. When you are abusing or insulting someone, you are showing the world how violent you are.

"I don't like to show you violence. I am sure there are lot of young people who have liked the show. And I believe that all of us has different opinion. I thought it was a violent show so I scolded Karan and Arjun and told them that I was not impressed with it.

"I am not someone who can laugh at abuses and bad language, I think I have passed that age. I am not a 14 year-old who will laugh at abuses. I am not impressed. If you want to impress me, try making me laugh without insulting anyone. I will enjoy it then.

"I personally have a problem with what they have done, therefore I have not seen the show. I felt that this is not my type of show, that's why I haven't seen it.

"I am not talking about AIB, but about Arjun, Karan and other actors at the event...I think as a creative person, it is my responsibility to search for the good in people," Aamir told the media during the press conference.

He also stated that he doesn't believe in banning the videos and is against it. Aamir further added that he has produced "Delhi Belly" movie which had lot of expletives, but they applied for adult certificate and even informed people that the film is for adults only.

Aamir also noted that each one of us has to be responsible about how we are using that Freedom of Speech.
