Mission Impossible man Cruise was present along with Annabelle Wallis and Sofie Boutella, his co-stars from the upcoming movie The Mummy (2017), directed by Alex Kurtzman.

As a part of the film's promotional, Cruise was given a first-hand view of the Wanda Metropolitano (Estadio La Peineta), the new 67,703-capacity ground where Atletico Madrid will play their matches from the 2017-18 football season.

Niguez and Atletico Madrid club president Enrique Cerezo played the role of the guides.

"It will be a really magnificent stadium and I can't wait to watch them come back and play here now," said Cruise.

"I was invited and I can't wait to see it with all the screens and all the fans here because there's nothing like really watching a football match here in Spain."
