Before the news of Dileep-Manju Warrier divorce cools down, another star couple has parted ways. Actor Ranjith and actress Priya Raman who got divorced recently are living separately now.

Ranjith who began his career with the Tamil film "Sindhu Nathi Poo" in 1994 became famous for his roles in Malayalam and Tamil. He was noticed for his character in "Maru Malarachi" for which he won Tamil Nadu state award for the best villain.

After acting in more than 50 Tamil films, he made his entry to the Malayalam industry through Mohanlal's "Natturajavu." This was followed by movies like "Chandrolsavam" and "Lokanathan IAS." But, it was "Rajamanikyam" which won him many accolades as an actor in negative roles.

Ranjith also made his directorial debut with the 2003 Tamil crime film "Bheeshmar" which was produced by Priya Raman.

Priya Raman, withdrew from the film world after she married Ranjith in 1999. She began her career with the Tamil movie "Valli" and made her entry into Malayalam films with I.V. Sasi's "Arthana." Her most noticed role was in Joshy's "Sainyam" along with Mammootty in which she played the role of an air force pilot. She later went on to do many Malayalam films opposite actors like Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Dileep, Mukesh and Manoj K Jayan and here notable movies include "Kashmeeram", "Araam Thamburan" and "No:1 Snehatheeram Bangalore North" among others.
