South Indian actress Muktha got engaged to Rinku Tomy on Sunday, 23 August, at St John's Baptist Church, Palarivattom, Kochi.

The engagement ceremony was attended by close friends and family members of the couple. From the film fraternity, only actor Suresh Gopi was present for the function.

The actress looked elegant in Kerala set saree, specially designed by Kasavu Kada and traditional ornaments like palakka mala. The function also saw women performing Thiruvathirakali (dance performed by women in Kerala).

Soon after the engagement, Muktha shared her happiness and thanked Suresh Gopi, family members and all well wishers for supporting her and also shared the engagement highlights video on her official Facebook handle.

The wedding, arranged by both the families, will take place on 30 August at St George Church, Edappally. Later, the reception, which will be attended by the celebs from film industry, has been arranged at Gokulam Park, Kochi. The actress had earlier said that she will be wearing the traditional Christian attire chatta and mundu for her marriage and will also have Margam Kali (group dance practised by Christians).

Muktha, who began her career as an actress in Lal Jose's film "Achanurangatha Veedu", was in a relationship with popular singer Rimi Tomy's brother Rinku for quite some time.

The actress will next be seen in Tamil films "Vaaimai", "Sagunthalavin Kadhalan", "Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga", "Paambhu Sattai" and Malayalam project "Sukhamayirikkatte".
