Veteran actor and Bollywood's one of the most popular villains, Pran, who was rushed to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital on Friday, is stable and doing fine now.

The 92-year-old actor was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Bandra on November 16 following respiratory problems.

Pran, known as the "Villain of the Millennium," is battling health complications. The actor visited hospital for regular checkups but the doctors advised him to stay back for better medical supervision.

"He is doing fine and still in hospital. Nothing to worry," PTI quoted Lilavati Hospital spokesperson as saying.

Pran's daughter Pinky Bhalla told the Mumbai Mirror that the actor was doing fine and expected her father to get discharged by Wednesday evening.

"Dad is fine. He is not even in the ICU. He is comfortable and stable in his room. On Thursday, he was coughing a lot so we brought him to the hospital for an examination. Ï think we should be going home by Wednesday evening," Pinky told the Mumbai Mirror.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, actor Anil Kapoor along with brother Boney Kapoor and actor Raza Murad visited the ailing actor in the hospital.

"Paid a visit to Pran Saheb in hospital .. he is fine .. spent an hour with him joking and talking of times past and present .." Amitabh Bachchan twitted after visiting him.

Big B, who have worked with Pran in around 14 films, also said that the actor was recovering and would be back home by Wednesday.

"I read quite by accident that Pran saheb is unwell and in Hospital, and I call immediately to check facts and details. Later a few hours ago I visit him. He is fine, repaired enough to be home by Wednesday, and full of laughter and talk of the times spent together," Big B wrote on his blog srbachchan.tumblr.com.
