Bollywood actors have to go through a lot to get that perfect look for their films. And if the movie requires an exceptional image, the difficulties increase. From Aamir Khan in "PK" to Amitabh Bachchan in "Paa", actors had to undergo hours of make up to get thag perfect onscreen look.

Here are some superstars and their exceptional looks: 

Aamir Khan in "PK"

Wide-eyed, elephant-like ears and red lips made Aamir Khan in"PK" more interesting and entertaining to watch. But the team had to undergo too much trouble to make things fixed. Khan used to curl up his eyelashes before each shot to make his eyes look wider. Then blue tacs were used to enlarge alien Khan's ears than they usually look. Mr. Perfectionist used to eat 40 paans (betel leaf) every day to make his lips blood red.

Shah Rukh Khan in "Ra.One"

During the shoots of "Ra.One", Shah Rukh Khan was not allowed to eat or drinks for long make-up sessions. To get the perfect look of a superhero resembling a robot took hours to apply make-up. By mistake if it came out, the process to fix it used to take extra hours.

Amitabh Bachchan in "Paa"

The legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan appearing in a child's role surprised the audience. Hollywood's Christien Tinsley (The Passion Of The Christ, Catwoman and other films) and Dominie Till (The Lord Of The Rings trilogy) were the great people behind Big B's perfect appearance. It used to take five hours to do the make-up and two hours to remove it each day.

Hrithik Roshan in "Dhoom 2"

From being a sculpture to an old man, Hrithik Roshan pulled off each and every avatar in "Dhoom 2." The dashing villain of the film charmed the audience with his unqiue looks each time he appeared on screen.

Priyanka Chopra in "7 Khoon Maaf"

To make smoking-hot actress Priyanka Chopra look like a 65-year-old lady was a difficult task for "7Khoon Maaf" team. The make-up artist used to take up to five hours to make her look perfect according to the script's demand.

Shilpa Shetty in "Desire"

Shilpa Shetty Kundra went in for a prosthetic make-up which took four long hours to look bald in her Indo-Chinese venture "Desire". She was not allowed to eat, drink and even talk during her make-up process.
