India's second largest car maker Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has had a good run in 2016 so far with it models such as Creta, Grand i10 and Elite i20 doing good sales. The Korean carmaker has over 16 percent market share in India so far. In a bid to improve market share, the carmaker is planning to launch many new cars in the next couple of years. We have compiled a list of upcoming Hyundai cars for India.

Hyundai Tucson

The next launch of Hyundai is the Tucson SUV that will be positioned between Creta and Santa Fe SUVs. Hyundai will launch the SUV on November 14. The Tucson is not a new name in India. Hyundai had sold the first generation of the Tucson in India from 2005 to 2010. The new version is in its third generation and comes with Fluidic 2.0 design philosophy in line with other new Hyundai cars. The SUV is built on a new platform that offers larger cabin space. It will be powered by a 2.0-litre CRDi diesel engine tuned in two state of tunes -- 135bhp and 180bhp -- mated to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. Bookings are already open for a token amount of Rs 25,000.
