Land Rover India will launch the 2016 Range Rover Evoque in India on 19 November. One of the highest selling models of Land Rover, the new Evoque gets tweaked front bumper that now houses larger intake, new grille designs, all-LED headlamps and new alloy wheel design

Interior changes include new seats and door casings, new infotainment system accessed via an eight-inch touch screen, and the new color and materials. The 2016 model Range Rover Evoque's will also see the introduction of All-Terrain Progress Control (ATPC). ATPC allows the driver to input a desired speed without any pedal inputs once the brake is released. The system continuously monitors and adjusts the vehicle settings to optimise traction and maintain progress in all terrains.

Land Rover India already confirmed the new Range Rover Evoque with features such as hands-free tailgate function, head up display (HUD), surround camera System, 825 Watts Meridian surround sound system 17 speakers and rear seat entertainment package.

The current Range Rover Evoque is powered by in-line four cylinders, 2,179cc diesel engine that develops 187.7bhp of power and 420Nm of torque mated to nine-speed automatic transmission sending power to all four wheels. The SUV required 8.5 seconds to run from 0-100kmph before topping out at 195kmph. The powertrain is not expected get changes in 2016 Range Rover Evoque.

The Tata Motors owned subsidiary started taking bookings for the SUV in 22 dealership in India from 20 October.

More than 4,00,000 units of Evoque have been produced since its introduction in 2011 making the premium compact SUV the fastest-selling Land Rover of all time. The year 2014 marked Evoque's most successful year to date, with 125,364 global sales.
