A teaser from Rajinikanth and Sudeep's 2.0 will be out on Thursday.PR Handout

After building huge hype around the movie for over two years now, the makers of 2.0 are trying to give a glimpse to the content of the multilingual movie by releasing a teaser from Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar-starrer on September 13.

Looking at the teasers from Shankar's earlier works, it is easy for people to predict a promo that would take the internet by a storm. There are many factors that he has always tried to pack in his movie promos. Here, we have tried to decode it for our readers:

Visuals
The first and foremost element that one can expect from the teaser are eye-pleasing visuals. It is not surprising to see the makers planning to unveil the video in two formats – 2D and 3D – when they have used the service of some of the big Hollywood studios on VFX.

Enthiran was a visual delight and 2.0 is believed to set a new benchmark in terms of VFX works in the Indian cinema.

Rajinikanth
No amount of visuals can replace the Rajinikanth element in 2.0. It is his unmatchable presence which brings life to the story. Having worked in movies like Sivaji and Enthiran, Shankar knows what the superstar's fans love to see him in the film. Expect the superstar to set the screen on fire when he turns a robot once again.

Akshay Kumar
Given a choice, Rajinikanth himself had said that he would have taken up the role of Akshay Kumar. That clearly indicates the importance of his character in 2.0. With Akki enjoying a big fan following across the globe like the Tamil superstar, one can expect an equal weightage to his role with Rajini. The teaser is expected to reveal the deadly confrontation of their characters in the film.

Background Score
AR Rahman's background score has always enhanced the quality of the movies that he has worked in. With him joining hands with Shankar and Rajinikanth for this ambitious project again, the two-time Oscar Award winning musician is expected to thrill the viewers by providing music to perfection.
