Zee Cine Awards 2016 is set to be aired March 5, Saturday, but viewers can watch it March 3 and 4 using the ditto TV's "before TV" feature. A subscription to it allows users to view content from anywhere at any time of the day.
"dittoTV was developed with an effort to empower viewers to consume their favourite content anytime they want and anywhere they want. With our beforeTV feature, we have been able to take this to the next level by telecasting content even before it hits the tube," Archana Anand, Business Head, dittoTV told DNA.
To be hosted by Shahid Kapoor and Karan Johar, the awards show was attended by A-listers of the industry. Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra, Kriti Sanon, Sonam Kapoor, Kajol and Riteish Deshmukh among others walked the red carpet in their stylish best.
On the sidelines, the celebs spoke at length about future projects, peers and the general mood and vibe of the event. Ranveer Singh said he was looking forward to Aditya Chopra's "Befikre," Salman Khan praised Sonam Kapoor's "Neerja," Parineeti Chopra crooned a few lines and Arjun Kapoor turned heads when he entered the venue in high heels. Although he was awkward in them, he did pose for the shutterbugs and spoke to the press about "Ki and Ka."
From what has been reported so far, "Bajirao Mastani" and "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" have bagged top honours. The highlight of the show, however, was Ranveer collecting girlfriend Deepika Padukone's trophy for Best Actress while FaceTiming with her, Catch News reports.
