Actress Zarine Khan who played Princess Yashodhara in her Bollywood debut "Veer" (2010), steps into the shoes of Katrina Kaif in the sequel of the 2007 hit film "Partner."
In the film "Partner," Katrina Kaif and Lara Dutta played the lead female roles, however, reports maintained that the 27-year-old actress, who is known for her resemblance to Katrina Kaif, has replaced her in the film.
Zarine was first noticed by Salman and he decided to cast her for his home production "Veer."
The forthcoming romantic comedy sequel is expected to be released in 2013.
Zarine also made a special appearance in another Salman film "Ready" (2011) in the item song "Character Dheela."
Meanwhile the actress is busy filming for a forthcoming film, "Housefull 2- The Dirty Dozen," opposite Akshay Kumar.
