Yuvraj Singh's 10-day long wedding celebrations started on Tuesday and the hard-hitting southpaw organised his sangeet ceremony on a grand note in Chandigarh. The presence of the India cricket team superstars, fresh after their victory over England in the third test at Mohali, remained the icing on the cake at the occasion.
India test team skipper Virat Kohli, coach Anil Kumble as well as a host of other players, including Parthiv Patel, Ravindra Jadeja and Ishant Sharma — whose wedding is scheduled for December 9 — attended the event.
Yuvraj, 34, is marrying Hazel Keech, a 29-year-old British-Mauritian model who was also seen alongside Salman Khan in the Bollywood movie, Bodyguard. Their wedding is scheduled to take place on Wednesday at the Fatehgarh Sahib in Punjab.
Following the traditional Punjabi wedding ceremony, yet another wedding ceremony, this time according to traditional Hindu rituals, will be held on December 2 in Goa. The sangeet and the reception is thereafter scheduled for December 5 and 7 in New Delhi.
