The makers of "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" have apparently found a new male lead to replace Karan Mehra, who quit the show due to health issues. Vishal Singh of "Dekh Bhai Dekh" and "Parvarrish Season 1" fame is said to have been finalised for the role of Naitik, which was being played by Karan.

Vishal would enter the show during the upcoming track when the show's cast would be seen visiting Switzerland. "Noted actor Vishal Singh of 'Dekh Bhai Dekh' and 'Parvarrish 1' fame is all set to step into Karan's shoes. Though the maker had many names in their mind, finally they roped in Vishal for the meaty role. By the end of August, the entire team will visit Switzerland, where Vishal's entry will be shot," a source told Tellychakkar.com.

However, the actor has refused to comment on it. "It's too premature to talk as nothing has been told to me. I can't comment on it," Vishal told the Times of India.

With this, it is certain that there is no scope of Karan making a comeback to the show. This puts to rest rumours that the production house and the channel Star Plus were mulling over bringing Karan back.

This was apparently because Hina, aka Akshara, who is cast alongside the main actor, had expressed her reservations about romancing a new guy. She was also said to have refused to play Naitik's widow, leaving no option for the makers but to bring Karan back on the show. Karan had then refuted the rumours of him returning to the show.

But with the latest buzz of Vishal entering the show, it appears that Hina has finally given her nod to get paired with a new guy on screen. It now remains to be seen how viewers would react to the chemistry between Hina and Vishal, considering that the on-screen couple Hina and Karan had won their hearts.
