Even as "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" is engaging viewers with interesting twists after the time jump, the upcoming track will leave the audience in shock. According to reports, Naitik (Karan Mehra) will be kidnapped in the upcoming track of the show.
The report said Naitik would leave for Nigeria for his business assignment and Naman (Anshul Pandey) would accompany him. However, after reaching the hotel room in Nigeria, both Naitik and Naman would get involved in a huge argument. "There will be a war between the two, in their hotel room abroad. And this will be the precursor to Naitik's kidnapping," a source told Tellychakkar.com.
The fight will result in Naman pushing Naitik into a glass pane and with the latter getting severely injured. Naman will then plot a plan to kidnap Naitik. This will mark the beginning of a new track wherein Akshara (Hina Khan) and Naira (Shivangi Joshi) will be seen frantically searching for Naitik.
Besides the upcoming twist, there were reports recently that Sippora Zoutewelle of "Firangi Bahu" fame and Suzanne Bernert, who played Helena on "Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat," were set to join the cast of "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai."
Meanwhile, in the ongoing track of the show, Akshara is heartbroken due to Naira's (Shivangi Joshi) strange behaviour after returning from Rishikesh. Naira, on the other hand, wants to run away from the Singhania family. However, in the upcoming episodes, Naitik, fearing that he may lose Naira again, will decide to keep Akshara away from Naira and convince Naira to stay with the Maheshwari family, where he will be able to meet her, India Forums reported.
