After "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" took a leap in the storyline, viewers of the popular show witnessed the entry of several new actors. Shivangi Joshi, Mohsin Khan and Kanchi Singh joined the cast of the hit series and now the makers have roped in another two actresses to spice up the show.
According to a Tellychakkar.com report, Sippora Zoutewelle of "Firangi Bahu" fame and Suzanne Bernert, who played the role of Helena on "Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat," are set to join the cast of "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai."
"In coming days Sippora will be seen essaying the character of Laura, Yash's (Sanchit Sharma) love interest. While Yash will visit abroad for his work he will meet Laura and will fall in love with the lady. Laura will come to India along with Yash and her mother, the character played by Suzanne Bernert. In India, she will try to convince Yash's parents' to accept her as their bahu," a source told the web-portal.
Although Sippora confirmed the report, she refused to divulge details of her role in the show. "All I can say is that my character will be of a sweet, bubbly girl, trying to win everyone's heart," Sippora said.
Meanwhile, Akshara (Hina Khan) is dejected with Naira's (played by Shivangi) strange behaviour after returning from Rishikesh. Naira, on the other hand, wants to run away from the Singhania family. However, in the upcoming episodes, Naitik (Karan Mehra), fearing that he may lose Naira again, will decide to keep Akshara away from Naira and convince the latter to stay with the Maheshwari family, where he will be able to meet her, India Forums reported.
