Star Plus' long-running show "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" is gearing up for the wedding of Naitik Singhania (Karan Mehra) and Akshara Singhania's (Hina Khan) son Naksh (Rohan Mehra) with Tara (Umang Jain). Both Naksh and Tara's families have decided that the wedding will take place in Tara's native village in Haryana.

In the recent episodes, the Singhania family was seen reaching the village in Haryana for the wedding. Interestingly, in the upcoming episodes, viewers will witness the bride donning a traditional Haryanvi attire for the wedding. Even Naksh will be seen sporting a Haryanvi look with dhoti, kurta and bali (earring).

"Yes. I wore a dhoti for the first time in my life along with the balis to get into the Haryanvi look. She (Tara) was surprised and later on we shared a few romantic moments as well," Rohan told India Forums.

Naksh will also host a bachelor's party for his friends. The bash will see Naksh dancing to the song "Ladki Beautiful Kar Gayi Chull" from "Kapoor and Sons." Amid this happy occasion, reports have been doing the rounds that the wedding might not take place.

Apparently, the makers are mulling over the idea of introducing a new girl in Naksh's life, which will result in Umang's character being sidelined. Also, cheerful Tara might turn negative with the entry of the new girl.

The report said Umang is unhappy with the change in the track and is likely to quit the show if the makers decide to cast a new girl and sideline her character. "Why will I turn negative in the show? Why will I play second fiddle to the guy with whom my love track was promoted so well on it? If they are planning to introduce another girl and making me the other girl I don't think I will continue. I haven't reached any decision yet, I will wait for the makers to take a decision," she had told the Times of India.
