"Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" is all set to take another time jump, after which the cast will be seen in a new look and some new faces will also be introduced. It had been reported that Ashnoor Kaur, who played the role of Naira, would be replaced by Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan would join the cast as Naira's love interest, Kartik.

According to the latest report, Kachi Singh of "Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya" fame, has been roped in to play the role of grown-up Gayu, daughter of Rashmi. The report said that Gayu would grow up to became a beautiful lady and would be seen living with her mother's parents in Udaipur. "I am happy that Rajan sir approached me for this role. Nothing is finalized yet. I am still in talks," Kanchi told Tellychakkar.com.

Meanwhile, Umang Jain, who played the role of Tara, has reportedly quit the show due to creative differences. While there were reports that the actress was contemplating on taking the exit route, according to an India Forums report, the makers have decided to replace Umang with a new girl after the leap. However, the actress chose to remain mum on her being replaced. "The news about me quitting Yeh Rishta... has been doing the rounds for quite a while now. I do not wish to comment on anything as of now," Umang told India Forums.

Post-leap, Naksh aka Rohan Mehra will be seen sporting Aamir Khan's look from his film "Ghajini." Not just that, the young bubbly son of Akshara (Hina Khan) and Naitik (Karan Mehra) will turn into a responsible and caring son.

Also, show's lead actress Hina, who was reportedly reluctant to age on-screen, will continue to be part of the show and play the mother of grown-up children. The actress will also be seen sporting a new look after the time-jump. "Hina who was shown to be sporting IndoWestern outfits post the 10-year leap, will go ultra modern now wearing tops and palazzos," a source had told the Times of India.
