Star Plus' "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" will soon take a seven-year leap, after which new cast will enter the show. While viewers are excited for the leap, the makers have a lot more in store for viewers before the story takes a jump.

It has been reported that in the upcoming episodes, the Bhalla family will be seen in a celebratory mood when Shagun (Anita Hassanandani), being the surrogate mother of Raman (Karan Patel) and Ishita's (Divyanka Tripathi) child, will deliver the baby prematurely. However, the Bhalla family's happiness will be short-lived as the baby will be kidnapped by Nidhi.

According to a report in India Forums, Nidhi will kidnap the baby after realising Shanaya's truth. Nidhi will then strike a deal with Ishita, which will leave the protagonist in a dilemma. Nidhi will agree to spare the newborn's life in exchange for Ruhi's custody. With no option left, Ishita will hand over Ruhi to Nidhi.

However, according to an Indo-Asian News Service report, Nidhi will elope with Ruhi and settle down in Dubai. Post the leap, the Bhalla family will be seen travelling to Dubai to get a grown-up Ruhi back. The cast and crew of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" will soon travel to Dubai to shoot for the show.

"The look and story line is being kept very confidential. The new cast is still getting locked and everything will only be decided once Ekta does her meeting with a pandit, who is going to give right kind of advice for the entire leap track, [sic]" IANS quoted a source from the production house as saying.

"As of now, Nidhi's character will be eloping with Ruhi to Dubai is locked, and we're looking forward to lock an actress who will play elder Ruhi on the show," the source added.
