Divyanka Tripathi, who is one of the most popular actresses of the television industry, is apparently planning to boost her husband Vivek Dahiya's career and make him a popular face.

Divyanka, who plays the lead role in "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein," has reportedly been insisting on striking a deal, in which companies approaching her for brand promotions should also sign up Vivek along with her.

Vivek, who plays the role of ACP Abhishek in "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein," essayed the lead character in "Kawach: Kali Shaktiyon Se" alongside Mona Singh. Unfortunately, the supernatural show failed to garner the required TRPs, and was taken off air after a few weeks.

A source close to a women's wear brand, which approached Divyanka for the photo shoot of a calendar, told SpotboyE.com: "We needed a popular face for this shoot but as the client's budget was less, we couldn't afford to approach Bollywood actresses. Hence we decided that TV actresses will be our best bet. Divyanka was top of our list as people are very fond of her. We approached her and explained that it was just one day's work."

Although Divyanka was excited with the offer, she demanded that Vivek be a part of the project too, despite knowing that the calendar was being sponsored by a women's wear brand. Her condition didn't go down well with the makers. The brand is currently looking to sign up some other actress from the television industry.

Divyanka and Vivek, who met on the sets of the show "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein," tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in Bhopal on July 8, followed by a reception at Vivek's hometown Chandigarh and a post-wedding party for their friends from the industry. Several picture and videos from the wedding had surfaced online.
