Xolo, a subsidiary of Indian smartphone maker Lava Mobiles, released on Sunday the Q700 for ₹9,999.

Xolo Q700 sports a 4.5-inch IPS OGS (One Glass Solution) screen with qHD 540x960p display resolution and it packs a 1.2GHz Cortex A7 Quad-core processor with PowerVR SGX544 graphics engine. It has 1GB RAM and 4GB memory which can be further expanded up to 32GB.

The new Xolo smartphone is one of the very few handsets in the industry to run on the latest Android mobile OS v4.2 Jelly Bean, and it also houses a pretty decent 5.0-megapixel camera with LED support and 0.3-megapixel VGA camera on the front.

Considering the specs and price, Xolo Q700 will be facing competition among newly released smartphones like Karbonn Titanium S2, Intex Aqua Wonder Quadcore, Zen Ultrafone 701 HD. The Q700 smartphone might even hurt the sales of its predecessor Q800 as well.

Xolo Q700 is now available at online store Saholic for ₹9,999.
