Indigenous smartphone maker, Xolo has announced a new phablet dubbed as PocketPad Q2500 in India.

The new Xolo phablet sports 6.0-inch HD (1280x720p) IPS screen with pixel density of 245 ppi (pixel per inch) and phone is said to ship with the Android v4.2 Jelly Bean Out-of-the box, with the promise of getting KitKat update soon.

Inside, the phone comes packed with Taiwanese made MediaTek quad-core chipset backed by 500MHz Mali 400-MP2 processor with1GB RAM and 4GB Inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot).

Other stipulated specifications include a 8.0-megapixel camera with flash support, HDR, low-light enhancement feature, full HD video recording, a 2.0-megapixel snapper on the front and a high-capacity 3000 mAh battery, which can run the phone close to 40 hours of talk time and up to 600 hours under standby mode.

As of now, the company has just listed the Xolo PocketPad Q2500 for ₹14,999, but the details regarding the availability of the device in the market is still under wraps.
