Xiaomi has been selling millions of its Redmi and Mi smartphones in India, and now it's time to reward those buyers with some treat. The Chinese smartphone maker has partnered with Hungama – the renowned music, movies and TV shows streaming service in India – and is offering free access to the premium version of the service to some of its customers.

Under this new partnership, Xiaomi smartphone owners will get access to a free subscription of Hungama Play Pro for 3 months and Hungama Music Pro for a year. But the offer is valid on select smartphones, including Redmi Note 3, Redmi Note 4, Redmi 3S, Redmi 3S Prime, Redmi 3S Plus, Mi Max, Mi Max Prime, Mi 5, and Redmi 4A.

Activating the free subscription is quite simple. Download the free Hungama Music and Play apps from Google Play Store and sign in with your Mi account. Once log in, you'll have all the information about free status and validity of your subscription.

Hungama Music Pro gives unlimited offline downloads, full-length music video streaming, HD quality audio and all without the interruptions of advertisements. The same goes for Hungama Play Pro, which gives access to unlimited movies and TV shows from within the app.

With three months of free subscription, eligible Xiaomi smartphone users will be saving up to Rs. 750.

If you are looking to upgrade your Xiaomi smartphone and the Redmi Note 4 is on your wishlist, you're in luck. After availing the free Hungama subscriptions, take a screenshot and share it on Xiaomi's online forum. With this, you stand a chance to win Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 F-Codes, which give you a wait-free ticket to buy the smartphone during the next flash sale.
