Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has long surpassed its predecessor Redmi Note 3's record, and it is far from done. The handset went on sale again in India on Wednesday via Flipkart and Mi.com, but the increased demand for Redmi Note 4 ended the sale in a flash.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 was launched in India in January, and has since been one of the best selling phones online. The handset quickly breached the 1 million mark in just 45 days – equivalent to selling one phone every four seconds, proving its success in India. But the latest flash sale is a clear indication that the handset is still bound to create new records and benchmarks for other budget premium smartphones.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes in three variants – the base model with 2GB RAM + 32GB ROM, mid variant with 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM and the high-end model with 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM. These models are priced Rs. 9,999, Rs. 10,999 and Rs. 12,999, respectively.

When is the next sale for the popular Redmi Note 4?

Due to the ever-increasing demand, Xiaomi hasn't been able to fix the dates when the handset will be available. But it is now available more frequently on Flipkart and Mi.com.

According to Xiaomi's online store, interested buyers can pre-order the Redmi Note 4 on June 16 at 12 pm. In case you missed your shot on Wednesday, try your luck again on Friday.

On Flipkart, Redmi Note 4 is listed as "coming soon" and there's no sign when exactly it will be available. We'll update with more information on the Redmi Note 4 flash sales, so stay tuned.

Why is Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 still so popular?

If you're thinking why go with Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 by spending up to Rs. 13,000 when there are several alternatives from Samsung, Motorola, Lenovo, Nokia and others, think again. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, for its price, is clearly a charmer even while considering its price-to-specs ratio.

International Business Times, India, reviewed Redmi Note 4 back in February and we couldn't be more impressed by a phone of that budget. To give a clearer perspective of why Redmi Note 4 is still relevant to most shoppers, let's take you down the memory lane and list of its specifications.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 2.5D curved glass, Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset, a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front snapper. It has a microSD card slot, which acts as a secondary SIM card slot when necessary, and supports 4G VoLTE. The phone is powered by a 4,100mAh battery, and has a fingerprint scanner at the back.

Everything is packed in an 8.45mm metal unibody, which adds to the premium look and feel.

Above all, buyers are still lining up to buy the phone so much that the company is not able to fulfil the excessive demand. The flash sale for Redmi Note 4 ends in a matter of few minutes after it goes on sale, which was witnessed on Wednesday as well.
