Xiaomi is only a few days away from launching the all-new Redmi 4 and Redmi 4 Prime in India, but it is now hoping to get some attraction towards its existing Redmi 4A model. Due to limited stocks, the Redmi 4A's availability in India has been scarce, leaving potential buyers of the phone disappointed.

Xiaomi Redmi 4A is available exclusively via Amazon India and interested buyers will have a chance to buy the ultra-affordable smartphone only for a brief time on Thursday. Amazon India will open Redmi 4A sale on its site between 3pm and 4pm. Unlike other flash sales, this sale is exclusively open for Amazon Prime members. There's a free trial for Amazon Prime and anyone can sign up right away and participate in the Redmi 4A sale.

Xiaomi Redmi 4A is priced at Rs. 5,999, and we found the handset extremely worth it for those upgrading from a feature phone. Despite the low price tag, the handset comes with some interesting features to attract budget shoppers in India.

Xiaomi Redmi 4A comes in dark grey, gold and rose gold colours. It features a 5-inch HD display, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5MP front snapper, and dual SIM 4G VoLTE support. It is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 425 chipset, 2GB RAM, Android-based MIUI 8 custom UI and 16GB expandable storage up to 128GB.

Under that polycarbonate sealed unibody with smooth matte finish is a 3,120mAh battery, and it weighs 131.5 grams. It's worth mentioning that these specs are pretty low-end for power users. If you can wait, Xiaomi Redmi 4 and Redmi 4 Prime, which are expected to be priced under Rs. 10,000 will be launching in India as soon as next week.

Buyers with low budget can definitely make the most with the Redmi 4A, provided they are Amazon Prime members.
