Xiaomi's long-rumoured mid-range phablet Mi Max is expected to finally see the light of the day at Beijing National Convention Centre on Tuesday.
The company, in a bid to fuel excitement among fans has released a series of video teasers giving a glimpse of the upcoming device.
To provide a better perspective on the Mi Max, we have leafed numerous reliable reports and come up with a list of features, which are likely to make the cut in Xiaomi's new phablet.
Design and display:
In the recently-released teaser videos, the Mi Max features a near-zero bezel display at the right and left sides. There is hardly any visible gap between the screen and edge, so users will be able to enjoy viewing video content seamlessly.
However, the phone features physical space on the top and the bottom. The company has included a front-camera, a single-grille speaker and sensors at the top, whereas the bottom is occupied by three back-lit capacitive buttons (recents, home and back) and metal-based frame around the edge.
On the back, the primary camera is placed in the top-left corner with LED flash beside it. Circular fingerprint module is incorporated below at the centre.
As far as display is concerned, it is expected to come in 6.44-inch screen with full HD (1920x1080p) resolution.

Like Redmi Note 3, the company is expected to offer the new device in two variants — one having 2GB RAM+16GB and another with 3GB+32GB storage configuration options. Both the devices are said to come with expansion option via microSD card.
Xiaomi Mi Max Teaser 2:
Xiaomi Mi Max is said to feature 16MP primary camera with dual-tone LED flash, autofocus HDR, full HD video recording and other standard features.
On the front, it will be coming with 5MP snapper, enough to take a decent selfie snapshot.
Xiaomi Mi Max Teaser 3:
There is no word on how much battery the Mi Max will come with. But, going by its massive display, Xiaomi is likely to incorporate a minimum of 4050mAh cell, if not more.
