As promised, Xiaomi has commenced the open sale of Mi Max on many e-commerce sites in India.
Xiaomi Mi Max, the company's biggest phablet to date, is now available on Flipkart, Amazon India, Paytm, Tata CLiQ, Snapdeal and also on the company's offical e-store, Mi.com/in. For the open sale, users need not get registered for the sale, and can just buy the device at their convenience.
However, the company is currently selling only one model, the one with 3GB RAM/32GB storage for Rs. 14,999. The top-end variant, with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, which costs Rs.19,999, is yet to be put up for sale. Xiaomi is expected to release it soon in India.
Xiaomi Mi Max sports a mammoth 6.4-inch full HD display and boasts an all-metal shell with fingerprint sensor on the back.
Other stipulated features include Android Marshmallow-based MIUI 7.5.3 ROM, a 16MP camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5MP front snapper with f/2.0 aperture.
We have received the Mi Max review unit and it has impressed us in almost all aspects, including build quality, display, fingerprint sensor's very low FRR (False Rejection Rate) and battery life.
Stay tuned, as we will be posting our full review piece on Xiaomi Mi Max later this week.
