In a few hours, Xiaomi will launch the much awaited Mi Max, the company's biggest smartphone to date, in India.
The company's event is scheduled to kick-off at 11:00 a.m. in New Delhi on Thursday. Those of you who cannot make it to the launch programme, fret not. Xiaomi has made arrangements to webcast the entire event online live on its official webpage.

As we said earlier, the Xiaomi event is said to witness the official debut of the Mi Max, which was first unveiled in China last month.
The features of the Mi Max are already in the public domain, but the price and type of the device variant is yet to be ascertained.
For the uninitiated, Xiaomi Mi Max comes in three configurations — 3GB RAM+32GB+Snapdragon 650 and 3GB RAM+64GB+Snapdragon 650 and 4GB RAM+128GB+Snapdragon 652.

Besides the Mi Max, Xiaomi is said to announce the new Android Marshmallow-based MIUI 8.0 interface.
It is said to come with refurbished Gallery app having built-in editing tools, enhanced calculator app, new Notes app, all-new battery optimization feature, anti-fraud SMS security feature, task manager, improved multi tasking ability and many other value-added features.
