The much-awaited Xiaomi Mi 5 has been announced at the ongoing Mobile World Congress 2016 (MWC 2016). Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, the device has caught the attention of gadget-lovers, and some have even compared it with flagship devices from other major smartphone-makers around the globe.

Xiaomi has opened pre-orders for its flagship device, the Mi 5, in China and is set to release it on March 1. It is not known if it will be launched in the United States and Europe, but it has surely turned heads with its specifications and low price tag.

The Mi 5 Pro is priced at ¥2,699 (around $413/€376/Rs 28,307), while the 32GB model of Mi 5 costs ¥1,999 (around $306/€279/Rs 20,965) and the 64GB model costs ¥2,299 ($351/€320/Rs 24,111).

We have had just a glimpse of the Xiaomi Mi 5 at the MWC 2016, and are yet to have a hands-on experience of the device, but its specifications will make many to compare it with some flagship devices, like Samsung Galaxy S7 and LG G5.

These devices may belong to different categories considering their price difference, but they are not very different if one is to go by the features they offer. Let's have a look at the specifications of these just-launched flagship devices:
