It has been reported for quite a while that the Xiaomi Mi 5 will come soon but that day never seems to come. There were reports that it would hit stores in July, much before the release date was extended to September, but it never happened. Now, it's been said that the Xiaomi Mi 4 successor's launch has been pushed to November.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 will be announced by the end of November, reported WCCF Tech, citing sources from Beijing. It sounds realistic as the Chinese released the Mi 4C a few days ago, paving the way for the launch of its flagship device.

What we know so far about specifications of Xiaomi Mi 5:

Display: It is reported that the Xiaomi Mi 5 will sport a 5.2-inch QHD touchscreen with 2560 x 1440 pixels screen resolution. It is expected to be protected by Gorilla Glass 4.

Under the hoods: Reports have it that the device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor clocking at 1.8GHz and run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The  WCCF Tech has reported, citing a post on Chinese social networking site Weibo, that the device will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, which could disappoint Xiaomi fans. 

According to reports, the device is also expected to come packed with 4 GB RAM, 16 MP main camera with dual-LED flash and optical Image stabilization (OIS), 5 MP secondary snapper and 3000mAh battery.

Other details: The device is expected to feature fingerprint sensor and Type-C USB port. It is also reported that it will be come with a price tag of $399, or about Rs 26,500.
